After deposing Kevin Rudd some in the ALP set about trashing his record even though it also damaged the ALP.
The subsequent return of Kevin Rudd should have rung alarm bells in Tony Abbott's camp; embrace and harness Turnbull but don't paint him onto a corner, destroy his credibility or set about undermining his leadership ambitions.
These recent extraordinary outbursts from Alan Jones and Andrew Bolt have already added to the impression that the Liberal Party is running a destroy Turnbull campaign; exacerbating earlier instability problems including those with Ian McDonald, Cory Bernadi, Sharman Stone, Arthur Sinodinos and Don Randall.
Abbott's Government is looking as though it is infested with the internal power-lust problem that beset the ALP and led to its dismissal at the 2013 Election.
