My GF is American and still owes about 80K for her degree, she cannot save a cent with all the required payments (private loans), we have no hope of buying a house. Lucky my degree only cost 25K (same degree) otherwise we would be working professionals going under, and yes we are both working in the field we studied in. Think about it people, its absolute madness!"
So a 100 grand debt is stoping two professionals buying a house? How much do you both earn?(in round figures,not being nosey but it doesn't make any sense to me)?
