Stanis, America is a great example of how pure free market capatalism doesn't work in 100% of cases (unless your in the top 4%). You need not regulate those adversely affected areas massively or even as much as we do today, but there is a point where a government can invest in these areas such as health and education and even social welfare and be much better off than either capatalism or socialist systems. Yes Australia has gone too far in some areas such as the dole, but if a balance can be found then Australia's future, and future economy will be better off for it.
