We need to get a move on with solar though.
I don't know if this is a valid measure (very rule of thumb) but looking at First Solar with a market cap of $6.4 billion and 8 gigawatts installed, that gives a market cap of around $800K per megawatt installed.
We have 4 megawatts installed = $3.2 million market cap for solar systems.
Add in Mildura Stage 2, that would give us $82 million market cap.
Add in a 50-100MW project in Saudi Arabia that would give us $163 million.
And so on. We really need to get these larger scale projects rolling out....
