Philips Healthcare Incubator is developing Minicare H-2000, a remote monitoring service that may be used in the home to support patients during chemotherapy.
This will enable the patient to self-test their white blood cell levels via finger-prick, automatically sending results for remote access by the managing oncologist who will review the cell count monitoring data ,the progress of the cancer treatment and will monitor any suggested progression towards adverse events.
