Sorry, don't follow your logic at all. Not to make too finer point of it, but not all bullets will get you the same result.
It's like comparing a lottery ticket sale (with a greater chance of being struck by lightning than winning) with a conditional set sale of a defined asset (conditional on certain key elements being met where the efficacy and science has been proven).
What you say is a kind of wilful blindness. There may be treatment available but the subject must want to change.
