Tullow is a partner in the huge Jubilee discovery offshore Ghana, yet Ophir came up dry last year on their Starfish well offshore Ghana.

Tullow have a production licence in Muritania, but their most recent drill was a failure.

They have proven oil discoveries in Kenya but not every drill is successful.

**on is a proven oil producing province yet Ophir has had two failed wells there recently. They will now drill another in the North of offshore **on.

HRT discovered oil a bit to the south of PCL's block in Namibia, Repsol didn't discover oil a bit to the north of PCL's block.

Every country has mixed results, some drills are successful, some not.

Cairn was recently unsuccessful in Morocco, as was Kosmos but I don't see Galp/TPT walking away or Freeport/PVD.

Tullow, who operate the Kudu gas project in offshore South Namibia, will make their decisions based on their evaluation of their 3D seismic program in EL037, which will be then followed up with 2D.

The Repsol result will just be another factor in their calculations.

PCL at 1 cent tomorrow would be an approx. 60% drop in the share price which is around the drop that Tower suffered on Friday.

gavwes, my understanding is that PCL's share of the costs for the Welwitschia well is zero due mostly to the fact that it was not their well.

Had they had an actual stake in this well as Tower did, then your 1 cent doom & gloom prediction would have some credibility.

Are you a PCL holder suffering great losses from way back or even the more recent 6+ cents pre-sunbird & now feeling financially suicidal & wishing to bring the company down with you, or just an astute down-ramper hoping to pick up lots of cheap stock at 1 cent??
