I'm fairly new to all of this so it's interesting to see how some investors buy large amounts of shares in small packets, so the stock price doesnt gather any momentum. I assume that's whats happening at SBP where buyers appear to be feeding on small bites. I'm just looking at the asx site so I cant see exactly how the stock is being bought.
The advantage of this strategy is that it encourages sellers to lower their prices because they are desperate to get their money back. Rather than chase them away, a big order can draw sellers closer....something for me to remember when I have more money to invest...lol
