IMO, a belief in no god is based on the total lack of evidence for a god, especially the so call personal caring god. As one very famous philosopher once said if given a chance to question god, his first Q would be "why have you made your presence so invisible""
Then again Einstein stated ""time and space are the modes by which we think, not conditions in which we live"" so maybe there is some kind of a creating force, but not one that is worth killing over.
