Time and further announcements will tell. Putting the information together, and if the hydrates information is accurate, I see that hydrates during drilling caused major damage to equipment on the rig which has led to unscheduled maintenance to resolve the equipment failure.
Maintenance is an ongoing order of business on a rig. Major maintenance does not occur during client drilling activities. I have never been on a rig and had them shutdown for maintenance during a client drilling operation. If the information at hand is accurate, something has occurred during drilling that's damaged rig equipment leading to "unscheduled maintenance".
