I've already said what I think about it, but to reiterate, I think it's a gimmick product, there may or may not be the potential to make money with it in the short term, but gimmick/fad health products don't tend to last commercially, and the ones which do end up being controlled by companies unlike AEB. In the very unlikely case that it ended up being a long term viable market, it will be someone like Metagenics selling it (perhaps they already do), not Algae Tech. Of course there will be ongoing demand at some level, but I don't think it will supplied by your company.

However, to answer your specific question, that is what will happen if they announce a promise of future earnings, I am sure it will give the share price a boost which will be as big as it is temporary. If they actually do make any money from it I'd predict a massive price increase as people who paid 40c years earlier scramble to top up at 3c or whatever the price is at the time. They'll probably gleefully enjoy watching it go up to 8c then as it goes back to $0.009 over the next few years they'll feel much like they do now.

Obviously those are just wild figures plucked out of the air, not actual predictions of timeframes, outcomes, prices, etc. It's also not an hypothetical situation I think is likely. More likely it will be much like the oil. They promised proof, a report and analysis confirming their claims. After flimsy excuses, broken promises and ridiculous delay, the report didn't come, but suddenly another one popped up, which we weren't given a single word of, we were just told they liked it! Why were they saying in 2012, 2013, and 2014 that it was just about finished, but then give up? I expect much the same sort of promises with the health stuff, and much the same substance to back it up, and of course, much the same response from holders who will again defend the people making money from the company making them lose money!
