Nice little price rise to accompany the announcement.
I read through some old Hotcopper posts - just refreshing myself on some of Solbec's achievements - an interesting comment caught my attention. It was a comment from the AGM 2005, when SC stated that a deal with a pharma could as much as two years away, ie March 2007.
It got me wondering whether the two year time frame was to do with trials, or to do with option expiry. This comment was made before the results of phase 1 was known - were the pharmas saying that no matter how good phase 1 results were they would not be interested? or was the indicated 2 year wait something to do with options and the dilutionary effect (almost 50% dilution).
Now that the options are out of the way I would not be surprised if the postulated timeframe for a deal was shortened. My speculation purely - no facts, or rumours.
I'm interested in any other opinions.

TDF
