Also currently ( as at 18th June) 26.9 MILLION SBM shares were short sold representing 5.52% of total capital…..

Compare this to other goldies who are in a similar market value – debt predicament like SBM:

PRU – 11.8m shares short sold or 2.2% of total capital ( note this is as at the 18th so is before the 16%+ sp rise they had when they published the new drilling results that they got
OGC – 1.79m or 0.59% of issued capital
KCN - 5.3m or 2.4% of issued capital…

To me this means that when the gold price gaps up…..the short squeeze will be a lot HARDER in SBM vs other goldies…….

Also these share positions repersent deffered demand / buy side for SBM…….these positions have to be closed out sometime…….when some start to close…….hope that triggers a stampede upwards
