He suffered from delusions of grandeur and narcissism when in office.
After being ejected he has realised that outside of his former bubble there is a real world full of real people.
Not that many people are interested in him now.
Result = Depression.
Most people would call his condition "Facing reality" "Living in the real world" or even "Tough Shit"
Personally I would use the latter
