Wealth Management Or Transaction Based

    Evening,

I am setting up a Self Managed Superfund for myself and am looking to deal with an experienced private wealth adviser. Before I do so I'm looking for some feedback from experienced investors that currently deal with or have dealt with stockbrokers in the past.

In your experience is it better to run with a wealth management fee structure or a transaction based fee structure?

The wealth management structure is basically 1% pa across the entire portfolio with no transactional fee's. This also covers financial reporting for tax time, research, general & personal advice...

The transaction based fee structure is 1% with an $80 minimum PER TRADE... and you get the research and the advice but all the admin is left for me to do myself...

Which in your opinion is better?

    Any feedback would be appreciated.
