A debt is a debt is a debt. CDU now have a debt as they no doubt are drawing on the loan.

That is in conflict with your statement that they are debt free. Debt does add some risk as there are stringent conditions that now apply that could be to the detriment if amounts go unpaid down the track.

The original announcement had first repayments 18 months after the first drawdown. That may well have chafed in the final documentation.

That debt will be repaid ahead of any dividends that may flow I suspect.
