Previously some posters have been under the impression that EPY needs to turn over $620 million to make a net profit of $5 million.
This is not the case, from revenue of $620 million the net profit after tax would be $9.2 million.
However because Euronet own 40% of e-pay Malaysia and they will receive a cut of $4.1 million leaving EPY with the balance of $5.1 million.
In real terms that means EPY would have to achieve 60% of $620 million to receive the projected profit.
if the profit level is below $4 million EPY are not obligated to pay Simon Loh any further shares.
