Unless I have got it all wrong, they have a couple of members of Parliament in that area, and IMO, they have to do something about it if they want to keep those seats at the next election.
Now, those seats are highly influenced by the greens and the Ltgers, so what chance have we got to succeed.???
Mel, like you have said, is the sacrificial lamb alright.
I would love to see if it was a major the likes of STO, AGL, and whoever else to be holding our tenements, and see if the same deal was dished out to them.
How much power does STO have in the Parliament corridors, and how many people does STO employs.?? And the same goes with AGL.
Now, how many people do we employ and who have we got walking the corridors of Parliament.??
Just look at what happened with AGL when they got knocked back from the ACCC to buy the Generators and what they did soon after which gave them approval over the ACCC decision. .......Yes, they stuck their tongue out to the ACCC.
And there lies your answer.
Sad, but true!!!!
