I would say it would be like ACA a couple of years back. They did a stunt where they took off the "tax" in fuel and it came down from 1.50 to 45cent or something stupid like that. The catch was ACA aka channel Nine "paid" the tax on the motorists behalf.
I would say probably Go2 Rewards did the same, paid the difference.... I guess it is a "cheaper" advertising stunt that way and plus gets your message out as everyone wants cheap fuel.
