I have to agree, as I sit in my office in Singapore as we speak, I do not see too much coal activity at all, but at the moment I don't really care which company or in which country fires up and makes commercial a modern UCG operation and get a few runs on the board. I would just like to see one operation purring away making money, so everybody else in the world can come and see, and say to themselves, "why weren't we doing that ages ago, we have plenty of coal in our back yard"
I think the Russians maybe our biggest allies. Not with RA's little gold project, but scaring hell out of all their neighbours, that they could be next and we need to have our own domestic fuel so as not be held at ransom like the Ukraine.
But at the very least, there is beginning to see some movement in the UCG space after so long of going nowhere to backwards.
