Leonidis or anyone else with option trading knowledge

You sound like you know what you're talking about, I currently hold RMR shares but thinking of trading a small parcel of options, never done it before, so not sure how it works. I have read up on it but still not totally clear how it works. At 0.005c if I buy say 1,000,000, what happens from there. Do I pay the cost now or at expiry time. If RMR is say trading at $1.00 Feb 2017, what is option worth and how do I take up the option. A bit concerned about jumping in but not really knowing what I'm doing.

Any advice would be appreciated.
