From my memory of m & a activity, there is a legal limit that offers can run to (12 months? + automatic extension time etc); beyond the prescribed limit the target has legal remedy (re frustrated actions) if another action is similarly launched by the same parties.
So yes, it should be drawing to a close, BUT lets thanks Skafell for getting the coys name on many more lips!
