I'm going to hang around this thread and see if I can learn a few things because I'm pretty clueless at this whole share thing, and the results show it unfortunately (e.g. brought ICG at 16 cents nearly 18 months ago). At the moment I'm about 20% down on what I have invested, I feel like I have missed a lot of opportunities, and doubling my money on a share like some of you have done is just about a distant pipe dream
I'm currently holding ICG (still), PRA and TPT. Anything could happen with TPT (but I wouldn't say literally given the lack of announcements!), ICG seems to be on a gentle rise of late with the expectation of a JV, PRA seems to have gained a lot of information from the first five holes about where to drill next so could do well.
I'm not all take though, I intend to help out where I can with my knowledge and experience - a fair few years in mining in a wide variety of roles on surface and underground mines, a variety of types - gold, iron ore (both hemetite and magnetite), diamonds, lead carbonate and a few other bits and pieces, plus some experience in downstream gas processing. I've also got pretty good knowledge of the Middle East & North Africa as I have spent a fair bit of time working in just about every country in that region. So happy to help out where I can.
