Interesting. What is ironic is that we are discussing really an energy shortage when WA will become the biggest exporter of LNG in the world by 2020. Obviously it would be a crime if the government kept some of that gas for the locals. Much like every other commodity that is being shipped overseas. So no we don't have a supply problem but a policy problem. People will be forced out in years to come to live further away from the city and be more self sufficient by living off the land for power and water. Historically WA has always been a place where you need to be self sufficient to some extent.
Clean water and power has a long way to go. This government can't even build a couple of train lines!
