Well done All4one,
I read the same sobering article yesterday.
I must admit after opening Hotcopper this morning, and, without undignifying myself by clicking on the obvious baiting by Goblin and those that entertain him, I thought that will give this page a miss for a while.
However your piece reminds me why I carry a parachute.
Absolutely no one knows where gold will go. Those that think that the financial world is recovering are delusional. What will this mean for gold? All I know is that has been prized and fought over for thousands of years where every day expressions such as "the business is a gold mine" "good as gold " etc, continually remind us that this yellow metal will be around and valued long after we clock out.
