Perhaps the easiest way is to go to indices, Wall St, $10 contract.

One CFD is worth A$10/point (get this from the get info part of the drop down box Lhs of Sell column). The margin is $500.

Or if that's a bit rich try 'minis Wall St $2 (A$2.14)' with a $100 margin.

The multiplier is as bad as the Hang Seng so work out your worst case scenario. You can blow $5K over night if things go sour.
