You could say the glass is half full. The announcment is consistent with the way announcements have been made in the past and normal conservative scientific and engineering practice. We have already had an incidence of a false dawn.
I was starting to give up hope that the process worked at all. I too was underwhelmed by the announcemnt but tow things I dont want are lack of hope and failure. The converse are hope and progress. Given the size of the prize and general malaise in mining stocks I am comfortable with it.
On a larger scale I see slow progress forward from the GFC, slow progress in: the U price; Zn price; mining stocks in general and various technological innovations.
My feeling is we've moved past a bottom and we should accelerate upwards from here. The rise in the price of Phos. and significant change in Indian (and Indonesian ?) elections are also markers.
