The great Red spot has been noticed to be shrinking for at least a century, and you are correct we don't know why.
Maybe it is the Jovians finally getting their methane poo together to get a methane tax up and going?
But how is it even possible that you can link the lack of understanding about one thing on a gas giant that is 588,000,000 kms away from us and the movement of the jet stream waves here?
Just because you don't know two things doesn't automatically mean they are related.
