Barely a shop front can be seen that doesn't bear a poster in the Great man's honour. The reaper has spent the past 7 hours in a 1930's New York style jazz cocktail bar which at full capacity seats 10 patrons where the proprietor brings great credit to both himself and his culture by individually preparing each drink for about 15 minutes (for the Rum au chocolat which I cannot recommend too highly) before presenting it to the Gaizen customer for a retail price equivelant to $6 AUD. For anyone who may visit Japan I cannot speak glowingly enough of the Sugar Hill jazz bar in Takayama or the system of rural subsidy that allows it to flourish as it most truly deserves. Anywhere on this forum where I may have expressed any respect for market economics I would like to have immediately expunged as they bring great dishonour to my true beliefs. It is now incumbent on the Australian rural socialist to bring credit to their (and my) preferred economic system whereby individual initiative and brilliance is allowed to flourish. I don't think even the finest Tendulkar or Bradman century was compiled with the dedication or craftsmanship which goes into a single rum au chocalat at the Takayama Sugar Hill Jazz Bar. Long live Japanes Rural socialism and may Tony's former DLP loyalties hold sway over his manifestly absurd Oxford inspired inclinations towards market economics. May rural Australia rise to the occasion of the subsidies it truly deserves!!

Reaper,
I see the "HC Fighting Fund" still has about $1,700 left in the kitty, perhaps we could put it to the "Powers That Be", to fund some more time in the "Takayama Sugar Hill Jazz Bar" as you seem in such good spirits (no pun intended, well maybe) at this moment!
Keep up the good fight against injustice. By the way, is Bob Ellis there with you?
