    actually, yes we do - as many (myself included) have pointed out multiple times now. Once you take known sources of natural variability (particularly ENSO) into account, it's abundantly clear that there's been no let-up in the underlying warming trend. There are many ways of showing this; below is one of the simplest and clearest. Simply separately highlight El Niño and La Niña years, and independently fit trend lines. Pause? I don't see no pause!
