Glutton for punishment or wise?

Are there some stocks that you can't help but be attached to? Almost regard them like you would a partner - love them but know that some days they will hurt you, some days they will pi** you off, but some days they will make your life wonderful!

SLR is one of those for me. I've been up and down (in and out) with this stock for a 1 1/2 years now. Sold my last lost in the mid 50s the other week and vowed that is it, never again. For some reason unbeknown to me I can't help myself and got back in again this morning. My head tells me no but my hear tells me yes. How's that for an investment strategy.

With other stock I think I'm unattached and make what I feel are rational decisions based on fundamentals and what appears to be the markets mood but SLR is like that old girlfriend you just can't let go of!
