There are always stocks trending up. More in a Bull market, bugger all in a Bear market. There are a few ATM worth looking at.
Go to Incredible Charts and ask them which stocks have risen for the past year with a series of 'higher lows' (forget the higher highs B/S). Look for stocks which demonstrate a sustainable rise.
There ain't many that fit this bill, but it's damn better than F/A. Look no further than CST for proof that F/A is an exercise in futulity.
