just to recap: Amplats suffered massive losses due mainly to strikes. The CEO predictably says the sales are restructuring, high cost to low blah blah, because he is fully aware that the pending sales are subject to govt approval and the unions are bristling.
only NKP faithful could construct this as a positive.
One major risk for any investor in SA is nationalisation. It could be argued unionisation in the industry is just as bad. This is why Anglo are culling Amplats!!!!!!
Since posting here, I have been amazed no one has mentioned a little legal dispute with the Bengwenyama Tribe. Talk of notarisation, zjin as saviours, takeover offers, 30c sp and even MINING are laughable. You guys have bought some paper shares to an entity essentially at the mercy of an intractable legal dispute. It is unlikely you will be ever granted notarisation.
Amplats struggled with a workforce. NKP haven't even got that far. You are still in the courts!!!

Seeing that you raised the subject and appear to lack knowledge regarding the dispute between the Bengwenyama Tribe and Genorah/NKP let me refer you to a few links which may educate you that the pending Garatau Project mining licence has nothing to do with the Aug 22nd the court proceedings.
