Here are the points that stood out for me in yesterday's announcement.
* Who are the 80 Banks that Salt are working with?
Holding a series of patents and patent pending products, SALT converges eCommerce and mCommerce to deliver One Touch™ transactions on any screen, including smartphone, tablet, laptop or desktop.
As I have highlighted in some of my previous posts, Salt's patents are outstanding in this space.
the potential for multiple revenue streams from multiple market opportunities.
* What do they have planned? MULTIPLE on both counts!! For example, One Touch™ transactions - This is HUGE! Imagine, customers just being able to touch their screen ONCE for any purchase from any of their devices within close proximity. Wow! So that's one opportunity and revenue stream.
Each of those dot points on page one would not only represent
multiple revenue streams but
multiple market opportunities that both Co's have the potential to target. Do not gloss over those dot points lightly.
* They (Salt) will develop and customise platform for TSN.
* Salt definitely see synergies with TSN and are looking to aggressively expand their business in other regions of the world. TSN have the contacts in Asia/Australia, Salt have the technology and I believe contacts too.
As Tomaree highlighted from announcement...
*** Best technology available which is adaptable to MANY business cases.

We have been careful to select a technology that has flexibility and attributes focused around continuous development, particularly as our research has found many companies, both in Australia and overseas to be isolated with one particular product line and therefore potentially at risk of being superseded.
