Determining a Valuation

I'm trying to work out my trading strategy based on various announcements that we may get on Monday. One of the problems is trying to determine a valuation for a find. Could someone experienced in these oilers tell me what information they will possess at this stage of a discovery? I presume it would include oil quality but what about the size of a discovery? Clearly, they will know the depth of an oil column but can they draw any other conclusions from flow rates etc? I notice the P50 for Trident is 423m barrels. Will they be able to tell whether a reservoir holds more or less than this and importantly will they tell us? Very interested to hear views on what details we could reasonably expect. I note the NAV/barrel has been calculated at anything between $10 and $20 depending which analyst note you read. Cheers, Robby
