Actually Pinto, I spent a bit of time in Thailand….they do abortions during their lunch-break….and virtually all were Buddhist - more or less. I'm assuming this surrogate mother is the same. Thailand is a cruel country….the people may yim (smile) but if you stay long enough and experience enough - and then you know how shallow the culture actually is. Nothing new….the culture is similar to what it was a hundred years ago - just 'modernised'….But any man with money will have a wife…..and one or more minor wives…and kids from all of them…and obviously some with more contact and guidance than others and they grow up as….Prostitution is rife…and Thai men are by far the biggest clientele. Some foreigners of course…but nothing compared to the Thais enslaving their own….and it isn't at Patpong….Up in the north they sell their young daughters…in their teens or less…. to be 'maids' in Krung Thep….Bangkok….but the parents know they are not going to be maids….They play the same charade that has gone on forever….
