Bones, your torrent of invective indicates that your political line is setting to the right. Pity, as I thought you were prepared to be even handed. You seem determined to misrepresent and pervert what it is I've said. I simply said that flag burning must always be considered a legitimate aspect of political dissent.
Far from suggesting that we should only obey laws that we feel like, I'm advocating that we must stand up before such laws are enacted to protect ourselves against an increasing encroachment on civil liberties.
I'm sure that there plenty of individuals out there who would love nothing better than to stifle political debate and banning falg burning is the thin edge of the wedge.
