If you are shorting right now primarily because of peak weather, then the rainy (typhoon) season you quote applies to Manila, not Compestela Valley, where there is no real dry season and extreme events can happen any month of the year (albeit events with potential for flood are less likely Feb- Apr). The site is used to heavy rain. Super-typhoon Pablo, in Dec 12, was a one in 50 year freak, and Co-O coped reasonably well with that.
However the other reasons are valid. The detrimental issues to the bottom line relating to plant expansion are not exactly news, but took a while to filter into the reporting.
