Sure he's a property investor , as are many politicians . However , I don't think he is doing this because of his ' vested interest ' in property . Nick Xenophon is definitely there for the common man . I'm sure his intention is making it possible for people to get into housing and therefore support themselves .

Given the superannuation that he would have as a politician , I doubt he's too worried about his property portfolio .

I agree with the Greek thing though . As he's most probably the son of immigrants after the war , it's not surprising to see that he is an investor as is very common in the Greek community .
