Market Update

Quayside Holdings Limited is the issuer of the instrument QHLHA on the New
Zealand Exchange.  Quayside is also an investor and majority holder of the
Port of Tauranga Limited.

On 1 August 2014 the Port announced to the market the issue of 2,000,000 new
securities in the Port of Tauranga Limited, bringing the total number of
securities issued to 136,116,246.

Quayside remains the holder of 73,687,536 shares in the Port.  The impact of
the new issue will dilute the percentage held by Quayside in the Port from
54.94% to 54.14%.
