I think any insinuation that Get-up is affiliated with the ALP in anyway would be construed as a complement to the ALP.
Unfortunately for the ALP, they aren't that smart to make that connection a viable reality.
However a 'modern' LNP, seeking to regain it's title of 'liberal' may in fact do well to be more influenced by 'Get-up'.
