This outcome today has nothing to do with farmers and everything to do with management!
Farmers have every right to try and protect what they think is in their best interests and none of us can say we wouldn't act in a similar way until we're faced with similar circumstances.
Mgmt have had AMPLE time to run the numbers over Hillside in the lead-up to state govt approval. They should have been able to hit the ground running, once approvals were granted. Instead, they've shown indecision and the MD has resigned.
A band of farmers protesting don't change the FS metrics of Hillside - people in white shirts, who drink expensive wine do that!
