Hi Nui - yes you are correct:

"These Forms must be lodged within 2 business days after they become aware of the transaction or change in % holding and by 9:30am next stock exchange trading day in a takeover situation."

As this is a takeover situation & 40mil trade on Friday is approx 2% of shares on issue, would expect notice on Monday if it was them or 'related party':

"Therefore, under sec. 671B, any shareholder who acquires (alone or with associates) a relevant interest in 5% or more"

I guess 'related party' is any 'friendly' party buying the shares at 5c to later sell into the 5.5% offer - nice profit for the 'friendly' party. I am sure it is all a very 'grey' area at this stage, will just have to wait & see what unfolds

approx 2 000 000 000 shares on issue, so 20 000 000 is 1% change, so 40mil Friday trade is 2%
