Hi Stevie, the problem is that the warmists are trying to demonise CO2 as the culprit. A plant food amongst other things. Your statement talks about pollution, which is completely different. I am all for stopping pollution as I love the environment and make a good part of my living off the land.
As a businessman, the one thing I have to be, is practical, and deal with reality, something that a good part of the population don't have to anymore, as their income comes from the government or from the hands of someone like me.
You go on to tell me in your post that Climate Change means exactly that. You think I don't know.?? That's my argument - the climate has been changing forever and man cannot control it. It is what I said in my post above.
You talk of "environmental equilibrium". You think man can change things enough to throw the planet out of whack.? Don't kid yourself Stevie, nature has a marvelous ability to keep on keeping on. There are millions of examples to back that up. Life has had to put up with a lot more than an extra 100 parts per million of CO2 in the atmosphere over the last four million years or so.

Your talk of drought and flooding rain has been the words of poets long before AGW became flavour of the month. Alarmism may be great to scare the brainless masses with, but cannot be validated by any science. Look at your comment regarding extinction rates. "estimated 100 - 1000 times". In other words you have no f*cking clue. We don't even know how many species are on the planet yet, let alone how many are becoming extinct. Exploding populist myths and alarmist statements has been a popular pastime for some. Look at Julian Simon and Paul Ehrlich. An old example admittedly, but quick to grab for illustration purposes.
