But, if the couple had been able to conceive normally, would any children be taken away from him then? There is no law to stop convicted paedophiles having children, is there? If he is as reformed as he claims (through counselling programme before being released from prison) then maybe these children will be safe (and there don't seem to be any questions about the safety of his other children through growing up).
My concern would be just as much for the little girl attending school and being bullied her whole life, nasty comments from other kids "we know what your dad did" and not being able to make friends, because other parents have told their kids to stay away. Would you let your child have a sleepover at their house? And is the poor girl going to be condemned to a life of media intrusion too?
