Normally if you are start up a public listing company you need supports from seed shareholders in terms commercial, corp, financial and others key aspects. And company normally offers good conditions to attract these seed investors, this is a common practice.
Then its the seed choice to weather sell out as early as possible once the restriction from escrow is waved... normally, they will sell off their initial investment to be free carrier, again another common practice.
Then they move on to other projects..
They also look at the macro economy conditions rather than the micro, hence they always action before us, the normal investors or traders. Of course, info they received from their extended network and they often have far more advanced communication channel... but it doesn't necessarily mean that they are always right...
So, dont only use escrow sell to judge one particular stock, it's not always that escrow selling means bad...
Have a good day
