""(- and finally once the company is completely recapitalised post CR (at shareholders great expense) will management ask WEG to simply pay up as per the JV agreement?)""

I hope that I am wrong ST, but, I wouldn't be counting on that money if I was you.
It wouldn't surprise one very very small bit to find out that it will be all in the wheeling and dealings of getting them to accept our offer.
Plus of course in having them to release their own shareholdings, AT A PRICE!!

    - Now, once again, who was the one that made that decision of allowing them back into the door after what they did to us in the past.??
    - And how many millions of dollars did it cost us fighting them, only to allow them back in.??
    - Why was Tony made redundant after he got rid of the Chinese and when, if my memory serves me right, he claimed/declared that we finally owned 100% of Cocaktoo as a result of it all.?
    - Did the Board stuck with him, or did they go/turn against him.??
    - What is going to happen with Irvine now, when Tony who had a good relationship with the Natives and the Land Council there, is not in the Company anymore.??
    - What do you think these Natives land owners think about their shareholding being diluted to practically ZILCH.??

Why, why, why and yes mire why's.

Finally, are you going to give them more money now.??

Just have a good look at what has been proposed and put in front of us, and IMHO you will soon realise that PLV is practically owned and control by some large foreign hands, and the puppeteers will be pulling the strings at their pleasure.

    Dyor!!
