yes,scientific knowledge is great... we know so far that :

PBT2 significantly reduces soluble amyloid [EURO]
PBT2 shows a trend of reducing amyloid plaques, but not statistically significant over placebo[IMAGINE]
PBT2 is twice showing trends of reduced brain atrophy
PBT2 has twice managed to meet statistical signifcance over placebo in cognition test. [EURO, REACH2HD]
PBT2 has been well tolerated in each trial and has almost completed a continuous 2 year period in IMAGINE.
Animal models have shown PBT2 being effective at dealing with both amyloid and TAU, with indications it can also prevent general memory loss associated with old age.

All that other poster presented was hyperbole on the likelihood of success, references to superseded data based on older drugs, and a few truths mixed up with misinformation and outright lies regarding their holding... i would recommend you look at the many reponses to that particular poster's comments.
