Newcrest will be more stable despite bad news because of it's status as an ASX20 company and the capital strength to sustain it for many years. It just had a multi billion dollar write down but the news was just shrugged off. meric, I have told myself I'll give Medusa 2 more quarters and use the time to accumulate and build cash reserves. If I dont see an improvement I will hold Medusa and start accumulating Newcrest. However, should there be a capital raising I will support them, just to see the company through to mid year next year when the fed is pressured to act.
