I don't necessarily have an issue with foreign capital being invested in our land. However they should pay Australian tax and employ locals. I have heard stories (unclear of the actual truth - but wouldn't be surprised) where large tracts of farming land have been bought by the likes of china and effectively then run outside our laws where they bring in chinese workers to work it taking all produce back to China. If this sort of thing is actually going on that is plain wrong as locals should be employed and all produce should be sold back to china at current market value with the appropriate tax being paid to our gov't.
